Personal Injury Paralegal

AMMON Staffing is hiring an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal for a busy Baton Rouge law firm! We are seeking a knowledgeable paralegal who can manage case files, communicate with clients and third parties, and provide strong support to attorneys throughout the life of a case.

Pay: $25–$30/hour
Location: Baton Rouge, LA
Schedule: Full-Time

Job Duties

• Manage personal injury case files from intake through resolution.

• Maintain accurate and complete electronic and physical case files.

• Obtain and organize medical records, medical bills, police reports, and other case documentation.

• Communicate with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, attorneys, and other third parties.

• Prepare correspondence, pleadings, discovery, demands, and other legal documents.

• Assist attorneys with case preparation and litigation support.

• Track case deadlines and follow up on outstanding documentation.

• Maintain accurate information in case management software.

• Assist with settlement preparation and documentation.

• Coordinate appointments, depositions, hearings, and other case-related activities.

• Perform legal research and other paralegal duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous paralegal experience required.

• Personal injury experience strongly preferred.

• Knowledge of personal injury procedures and legal terminology.

• Strong understanding of legal documentation and case management.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
