Electrician

AMMON Staffing is hiring an Experienced Electrician!

Baton Rouge Area | $24–$32/hour | Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to support residential and light commercial projects, including renovations, new construction, and special projects. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and run a job with little to no direction.

Responsibilities:

Perform electrical wiring and installations

Install fixtures, conduit, and electrical components

Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues

Read blueprints, electrical layouts, and schematics

Work with hand and power tools

Follow NEC standards and all required safety procedures

Work alongside other trades, including HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and carpentry

Support renovation, construction, and special projects

Requirements:

Proven experience as a residential electrician

Strong knowledge of electrical codes and NEC standards

Experience with both low- and high-voltage electrical systems

Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively

Proficiency with common hand and power tools

Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics

Construction site experience preferred

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong safety awareness and problem-solving skills

Residential electrical experience is highly valued

Pay: $24–$32/hour

Schedule: Full-Time, approximately 40 hours/week

Location: Baton Rouge Area
